24 years of Christmas with roses
Shreveport-Bossier City, LA – The Gardens of the American Rose Center have been celebrating Christmas in Roseland for 24 years now. And with each new year brings exciting, novel additions to the park.
Amidst a million, sparkling lights, families, groups and individuals alike will stand in awe at the glorious transformation of the Gardens of the American Rose Center. From animated displays to sleeping roses, to larger-than-life Christmas cards made by Shreveport-Bossier City school children, Christmas in Roseland has it all.
Families will be able to ride the Roseland Express train over to Santa’s 18-foot tall Victorian Cottage, where souvenir photos with the “big guy” can be purchased for $5.
While sipping hot cocoa and enjoying delectable concessions, groups of all ages will certainly appreciate the live performances by local school groups and churches at the Windsounds Carillon Tower garden stage. Make time to visit Santa’s gift shop where the shelves are packed with interesting and unusual items to complete your holiday shopping.
Christmas in Roseland will be open November 30 through December 26, every Tuesday – Sunday. The park will be closed on Christmas Day. Every evening the park opens at 5:30 p.m. The last car will be admitted at 9:30 p.m.
Admission is $5 per person for individuals. For cars, vans and SUVs with 4 or more people, the cost is $15 per vehicle. For mini-buses accommodating 15-35 persons the cost is $50. Motorcoaches and tour groups are $75. Advance reservations are requested for mini-buses and motor coaches.

The Gardens of the American Rose Center are located at 8877 Jefferson Paige Road in Shreveport, Louisiana. To get to the gardens, take I-20 to Exit 5 for Greenwood. Turn left onto Jefferson Paige Road. The gardens are on your right.
